Michael's Profile
Leaving the Merchant Navy to pursue a singing career Michael found himself joining a rock band in the 80s. That band, Satan (later to be known as Pariah), enjoyed success in Britain but had a larger following in Europe and Japan. They toured extensively and released several albums. Their last CD, "Blaze of Obscurity" achieved critical acclaim with the music press, most notably the rock magazine Kerrang.
Deciding to return to his native Morecambe in late 1989, Michael got together with old acquaintances and started gigging in and around his local area. This led him to decide to follow a career on the cabaret circuit. His great vocal talents and crowd-pleasing personality made him a much-loved performer wherever he went.
Michael has since diversified his repertoire to include hosting quiz and karaoke nights, DJ-ing as well as continuing to sing. Over the years in the business he has become knowledgeable and proficient in promoting himself, setting up PA systems and organising light shows.
As if Michael was not already busy enough he also does lots of extra work for TV and has appeared on Coronation Street, Emmerdale and several episodes of Hollyoaks to name a few. Michael too has agency and management experience.
Now deciding to put all his experience into developing these courses to help others progress in the industry Michael, along with a qualified tutor, has developed these courses in order to hand out the extensive knowledge Michael has gained throughout the years.
